Quality Dental Crowns in Malaysia
Crowns (also known as ‘caps’) are used to restore function to worn, cracked, or broken teeth. If the root of your tooth is healthy but the tooth is not, we may recommend a crown. Crowns are extremely durable and long-lasting. If properly cared for, they may be the only restoration your tooth ever requires.
Some of the reasons why a crown may be suggested are:
- To keep a weak tooth from breaking (for example, due to decay) or to hold parts of a cracked tooth together
- To fix a tooth that has already broken or is severely damaged
- To cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't much tooth left
- To conceal crooked or discolored teeth
- To pay for a dental implant
- To alter the appearance
Crowns can be made of gold or other tooth-colored materials (porcelain, ceramic, resin). Which depends on the tooth’s location and your needs. You will need two appointments with us for a crown procedure: one for preparation and one for fitting.
